a snake and a hat - print

$15.00

Inspired by one of my favourite books, The Little Prince. The aviator, as a child, had drawn a snake that swallowed an elephant – but the adults think it’s just a hat and ask, “Why would a hat be scary?” Frustrated, he draws a see-through version to explain. This piece is my playful take on that line. Why might a hat be scary? Because this one is swallowed whole by a big, mighty snake.

Drawn with alcohol markers and pencil.

  • size: 5×7”

  • unframed

  • printed on high-quality, lightly textured paper
